Don't be afraid, I know you are looking for Jesus
Who was crucified.
He is not here!
For He has been resurrected, just as He said.
Matthew 28
The resurrection of Jesus Christ is at the very heart of Christianity.
And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain. Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: ….. But in fact, CHRIST IS RISEN FROM THE DEAD and become the firstfruits of them that slept.
(1 Corinthians. 15:12-20).
How Does the Resurrection Affect Us?
The resurrection of Jesus Christ clearly demonstrates the POWER of the true God. (Ephesians 1:19-21)
The resurrection of Jesus Christ demonstrates to us that all the teachings of Jesus Christ are true, including who He is. (Romans1:3-4:1Timothy 2:4-6)
BUT MOST OF ALL
The resurrection of Jesus Christ assures our own personal resurrection from the dead.
But let me reveal to you a wonderful secret. We will not all die, but we will all be transformed! It will happen in a moment, in the blink of an eye, when the last trumpet is blown. For when the trumpet sounds, those who have died will be raised to live forever. And we who are living will also be transformed. For our dying bodies must be transformed into bodies that will never die; our mortal bodies must be transformed into immortal bodies. Then, when our dying bodies have been transformed into bodies that will never die, this Scripture will be fulfilled: “Death is swallowed up in victory; O death, where is your victory? O grave, where is your sting?” (1 Corinthians. 15:51-55 NLT).
